Clutton Neighbourhood Plan went to referendum on Thurs 10th Sept.
A total of 383 votes were cast, a turnout of 30.9%. 367 voted “Yes” ;16 voted “No”; no spoilt votes. The majority in favour of accepting the plan was 95.8%
This high turnout and huge majority “Yes” vote is a wonderful demonstration of the care the people of Clutton have for their community. This plan was drawn up by villagers for villagers on the basis of the stated wishes of the majority of Clutton residents and now means that our local wishes will be reflected in future planning decisions made by B&NES on our behalf.
